How soon will I get eggs do you think? The Black Shiny one is 8 months old on the 26th and she is a Black Sumatra and I am sure you recognize all of the other breeds and if you don't I will tell you if you ask. But the other ones are 6 months and 5 days old.

Thank you! DO you have chickens? And if so when did they start laying? If they have started yet. IF you have any pictures I would also appreciate it so I can see what they loo like! Thank you for all of your help!
I have 23 chickens, so yes I do. I have both bantams and large-fowl birds. The earliest layer was 19 weeks (a red sex link) and my latest was a blue Orpington (8-9 months).
My most recent layer is a white leghorn, at 26 weeks old.
Here she is and a picture of her first egg:

Pullets lau when their bodies are ready and mature. You can usually* go by comb redness and age. Some breeds lay earlier than others :)
