Building new yard 30 by 16 no top. How high should my fence be? Thanks

depends on your birds - most heavy breeds can't clear a 4ft fence unless motovated by a dog or other pred. Banty's can clear a 5ft with ease.

I have heavy breeds & a 5ft fence - they never escape when I close them in.

I also have a second group I keep in the garden - polish - they are pretty light & even with clipped wings daily fly out of the garden with a 4ft fence.

If you really don't want them to escape - use a 5 or 6 ft fence & get large birds.
