How tall for Welded Wire?

On my coop I have 6ft tall poulty wire around the outside. Im gonna put Welded Wire over it how tall should the welded wire be? is 3ft tall enough? Thanks

What predators are you trying to keep out with the welded wire?

A raccoon will just climb up over the welded wire to rip through the chicken wire.

Mine is 6 ft. I plan on putting the hardware cloth around the bottom.

the run is 16 X 48. Still have to move the awning in place for shade but its getting there.

I think mostly skunks never seen a racoon were i live in twenty two years.
