How tall is a coturnix quail hatchling?

I am making some changes to my incubator by replacing the lockdown basket with lockdown shelves. Things are real tight in my incubator, the useable space between each shelf is only 3 1/2 inches. The lockdown shelf I am building is only 3 inches tall, I worry about the hatchlings not being able to stretch out and having issues caused by that. How tall are day-old hatchlings? Based on pictures from my own hatches, I have determined that a chick could easily stand normally with the given height but I'm still worried that the low roof will hinder their movements and affect their flexible skeletal structures.

I think 3 inches should be tall enough for day-old hatchlings.

Jumbo browns are maybe 2 inches at hatch if they stretch up tall.

My hatching baskets are about 2” tall and they manage to race around inside them without difficulty.
