how tall should 4 week old bantam chicks be?

I was wondering how tall 4 week old chicks be. they are bantams .

Depends onthe breed and sex. Every breeds "Bantam" version is different and the true bantams also are different. If you get into breed with differing gene expression for leg length you can have chicks of the same age and breed at very different heights.

I have 7 weekers and there are birds flying around outside that are larger than they are

I'd say some are as "tall" as a coke can? Teeny little things! But ours that are full grown aren't much bigger. Maybe 6-8" tall depending on the breed?

thank you ... I was just wondering. they are starting to fly in there cage... they are still really small.
