How Tame/Smart Is Your Emu?

This is my emu Merle! He’s very cuddly and my favorite thing ever! Still no idea if he’s a boy or girl lol. I saved him when he was very young from a leg injury that needed surgery! Now Emus are my all time favorite animal.

He’s very cute! And your eyes are very pretty as well

Well, I shan't take this too seriously; but in respect of the tame-wild emus, some little things over the years have been insights into intelligence/personality/natural propensity.

For example, emus are DNA-programmed for straight lines. It's tragic to see chicks who somehow get a fence between them and their Dad. They can't figure it out; they only understand a straight line back to Dad.
