The egg is bigger than her own butt! How did she not split in half laying it!? I feel sorry for her having to lay this monster of an egg! I have the feeling it may be a double yolker, but don't want to crack it open to find out.

There has to be a pattern.. the only problem is A) I can't see who lays them, and B) I can't determine how much of what food they are getting.

The only way I could tell she was the one who laid it was because she was the only one who lays eggs that colour. I feed them all the same though, Haygates Gamebird Feed with Oyster Shell, but don't know if one eats more than the others or not.

It could also be an age thing, as I got that hen a year ago and I don't know how old she was when we got her. Looking back at old photos, she did lay one like that before in January this year.

Haha, I've had mine lay almost the size of a store-bought chickens egg! She was making it for 3 days straight! It was, indeed a double yolker, although it had way more space for another yolk or two. And it was very delicious.
