How to attach exterior nest box?

Thanks! Could I see a pic of how your box is attached?

This is the best inside shout i have available on my phone at the moment, but can try to get others tomorrow if you need. Maybe with the ones I pushed arrive our the building process will help this one make sense. Its all 2x4 framing

As @aart mentioned, you can locate the door on the front vs the roof, this was the way we went. Where box meets wall we used flashing and caulking to form a water tight seal, which is backed up by the overhang of the roof on that side

Technically the flashing should go up the wall a couple inches,
especially in snow country.
Longer overhang of roof over egg access door might be a good idea too.
