How to build the best coop & run?

Is that a freakin' tunnel connecting the two sheds like an old hamster cage???? Brilliant!

I forgot to mention that when viewed from outside at the right angle that barrel looks like one of those big dryers in a laundromat. So I call my coop the chicken laundromat.

How can I make nesting boxes.

In my first coop I made nesting boxes out of those plastic crates that you can get at Walmart. I had a bunch that my father gave me; I don't think that I would have bought them for that, though. They work pretty good.

In my second coop I used plastic crates that farms put vegetables in when they're picked in the field. They were like 50 cents apiece. They work as well as the others.

if you're surrounded by Amish, contact them! Those cats know farm building and carpentry!
Ehhh...I wouldn't bet on it.
'Amish' doesn't automatically indicate great building or especially great coop design.

You have been around this site for over a year. Surely you know by now the best solution is a Woods coop?
Well, maybe a Woods coop, at least we know that a Woods is Howard's best favorite haha! ....
.....but a years experience here, and with your present coop and chickens, should have taught you what would be the best design for you, right @Flock Master64 ?? ;)
