How to,,Catch a fox with a mouse trap.

Not sure if this has ever been posted but here is a way to build a live trap using scrap wood some fencing and a mouse or rat trap.

It can be as big or as small as you want. Basically a wood frame with wire on it. Must cut a board, for the top, to fit the height of the arm on the mouse or rat trap ,,,,,,,,,to catch the coat hanger door trigger release.

The door must be made of light material, if using a mouse trap,like paneling. The hardest thing to build on this ,,is the track for the door. It must let the door slide free and at the bottom ,when shut, go into a track, so the animal cannot get under with claws and lift.

I have used these home made traps many times. although never caught a fox I have caught racoons. They are tough animals when trapped and they could not get through a door made of 1/8 inch paneling.

we just use leg traps and the shotgun....but that will also work.
