Hey all,

Looking to process about 8 boys within the next month.

I have a rotary feather plucker (similar to drill attachment plucker, but on a stand and is powered with a car battery), but would love some ideas on how i can contain all the feathers that come off - ie setup a bin to catch them all somehow?

Feel free to share ideas and experiences :)

For that kind of set up, maybe just do a tarp under where you're working. We have a drum plucker, under the hole in the unit we put a 5 gal. bucket with holes drilled in it, so that the water leaves and the feathers stay.

Never used one but have seen and heard some stories.
You'll need more than a bin or tarp underneath as they'll fly straight out, need something to block them. This'll give you the idea.
