How to create blue laced red Wyandotte?

I've given myself a headache with all the reading i've done trying to figure out the genetics, so i'm here for advice.
I know these two are still young, but am I right in my understanding that if I breed them together i'll get 50% splash & 50% blue?

You appear to have 1 splash, & one blue so that should give you exactly what you said.

hatcheries should use black and splash for their blue breeding stock because i know some people buy blue expecting blue and end up with splash (off topic I LOVE SPlash )

i think if they used black and splash for breeding stock customers would be happier still off topic but just a thought i had

Typically what hatcheries do, for the BBS birds is have all three colors in the breeding stock.

yeah. ive just read reviews of people being disappointed when the birds they recieve arent blue. splash is one my favorite colors but i think it would better from a buisness standpoint if hatcheries use black and splash to breed for blue only.
