How to create Crele birds

Sounds like a fun project! Genetics are complicated, but I hope this helps: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/714983/crele

Best of luck!

Crele is the same kind of white barring on barred or cuckoo birds on a partridge or black breasted reds.

If you do not have partridge or red duckwing brahmas or cochins, then this will be extremely difficult and not really possible to make true creles.

If there are duckwings or partridges, you cross them with cuckoo. If you use a cuckoo rooster then all of the chicks will be cuckoo color as chicks then they will grow up into "fake creles"- really are black chickens with color leaking on necks and backs.

If you use partridge/duckwing rooster over a cuckoo hen then only the males will be cuckoo and the females will be black and not have the white head spot.

Next, pick one of the fake crele and breed it to a partridge or duckwing.

You may get lucky and get a few true creles from this. From this point on, breed the creles to partridges or duckwings only.
