How to deter a large fox?

Two days ago, we lost a chicken to what we thought was a hawk due to having had problems with hawks in the past. Today we were able to hear the commotion and saw a large fox inside our chicken coop. It easily hopped over our fence which is decently high. Our chickens were thankfully able to escape and none were injured today but id hate to lose any more chickens, and even my small dog, to this fox. Is there any way i can deter it or make sure it doesnt come back? We've relocated raccoons before but foxes are endangered where i live so there seems to be less options. If anyone has any methods that have worked or any advice it is greatly appreciated!

Electric fencing will generally deter fox. They are feeding kits now and are busily hunting. I see several daily.

Predator proof coop and run that can't be breached. Endangered or not, I'd shoot it.

Please don’t shoot animals at this time of year. They have babies! Think of what would happen to the babies if their parents were killed?

I dealt with foxes. This is my run. I have 3 runs of electrified Polywire. Look close for the yellow insulators. Over the top I stretched bid netting. It has worked, but I also shot a couple bothering the flock.
