How to disinfect brooding box?

Ok so my first ever set of chicks has moved to their coop and i need to clean the brooding box since i have duck eggs going on lockdown tomorrow. I use a clear rubbermaid tote. What is the safest way to disinfect it so its ready when my ducks hatch? Can i use bleach? Thank you

I'd use a solution of 10% bleach and hot water, then make sure it's really rinsed out and dry with a towel. Then allow it to air dry for several hours at least to remove any fumes/smells.

Thats what i do and it seems to work fine.
