how to dispose of animals?

We live in the country so we burn them or bury. Or take them down and across the road a bit and let the birds dispose of it.

Eh what a cruddy night. The third coon came back and because I have neighbors somewhat close I had to kill it with a pellet gun. Funny how killing something that is sick and needed to be dead can still make you feel like crap sometimes. Anyway thanks again for the feedback.

If you use a good heavy garbage bag and wrap them up in it a two or three layers thick then tie it off in a good knot they will not smell much at all.

You would think the local DNR would want to take and test any wild animal that is outwardly showing signs of disease. Around here you kill it and take it to the local Dept. of Ag for testing so that they may report local rabies incident percentages. It is mapped out down to the street with the most cases found. Crazy!

I throw critters in the compost pile for fertilizer. Hot composting decomposes them to bones fairly rapidly.
