How to fight back against Rooster ban in rural areas.

I am having to double check but I am wondering if anyone has fought against a rooster ban and what helped suceed. We are located in a rural area of Georgia. I live on 3 acres with horses to two sides and one side to I have one neighbor. This ordinace is also limiting the chickens and how you can dispose of the waste. I compost and intend on producing the chickens for meat and having a hobby farm.
