how to find a "stud" goat.

I actually dont know, I have never bred them back to anything outside of other fainters, I would not think so. Even with fainters, it's not like they constantly faint, with age they learn to control it and they seldom faint, normally they just sort of lock up and look like they have a cramp. My older goats I have now, can stand my two year old running around and they dont faint so I think it has alot to do with human contact.

Those sound cooler than what I have to offer...I have Mo...as in Mohawk...he is of questionable lineage and affectionate behavior! He probably has some spanish and milk goat in him! Not real big and light framed but not a dwarf for sure! He is broke to lead but you don't want to bend over around him! He really needs a lady friend! Ya'll okies planning on coming to the swap in April?

whats that? in april you say?

also...how do you get yours to lead? i am having a hard time with getting the girls to lead...or anything else for that matter!

I have a Nigi buck that we have been considering letting go. Over a year old, has already sired 8 kids (with a few more does pregnant!)

Look over to the okie thread...we have been discussing stuff for awhile but the low down is - April 25 Probably in Lexington...we are gonna get together for a swap, sell, trade, eat, hang-out, tell lies, and just get to know everyone thing...we have food coming and games planned and all sorts of stuff

It helps to be bigger than the goat first! But you just start doing it...There are some things you can do but I am not about to say them out loud for fear of curcifixtion! Plan on coming and I will talk goat at you!
