How to find out breed?

Hello again-
Here is the pictures of some of the chicks I have. I think they are all hens.

This is the one with the feathers on the legs.

This one does not have the feathers on the legs.

Yes. It means they likely aren't the same breed. A pure bred chicken will look like another pure bred chicken. If the breed is supposed to have foot feathers, then all chicks should have foot feathers.

In mixed breeds, where different breeds are used in the parents, if you breed a foot-feathered parent to a non-foot feathered parent, some of the chicks will have foot feathers while others won't.

Where did you get your chicks? That can help us also figure out what they may be. (Many backyard owners and farms only sell mixed breed chicks or have mixed breed chicks along with pure breed chicks).

We look forward to your photos to help you with identifying your birds.

Hello-
I bought some at Farm and Home and some at Buchheit.

Chick no 1 Production Red or RIR
Chick 2 Barred Plymouth Rock
Chick No 3 Light Brahma (male?)
Chick no 4 Colombian Wyandotte.

Wow- thank you so much!!! I thought the two bottom chicks where the same. That is what the salesperson told me. I really appreciate you doing that for me. I hope that you have a great day!

1. I agree is a Production Red or RIR
2. May be a Cuckoo Marans, the barring isn't crisp bars but softer (cuckoo) however the feet look more yellow, so could be a Barred Rock as Marans should have more silver-grey/white legs.
3. Light Brahma, very likely male. Comb is already showing fleshy.
4. Is not a Wyandotte. On close up, there are teeth on the comb. Wyandottes have a rose comb (or should have). It is most likely a Light Sussex, possibly a Delaware, but I'm thinking more Light Sussex as Delaware should have clearly yellow legs.
5. If clean legged (hard to tell if that is body fluff or foot fluff) looks to be a Buff Orpington.

All, with the question of the Light Brahma, appear to be pullets at this time.
