How to fix a prolapsed chicken?

My Jersey giant, Paris, has a prolapse. We are giving her a bath at this moment. When she’s out, I will put up pictures. Please give step by step instructions to fix a prolapse.

Pictures will help.The most important thing is to keep the red internal tissue moist at all times that it is outside, to keep it from drying out and turning black. Use honey, sugar syrup (sugar plus a little water, neosporin ointment, hydrocortisone cream, or any oil. Try to push the prolapse back inside and hold it there for a few minutes. It may come back out as she strains, poops, or tries to lay an egg, but keep trying to push it in often. Make sure that you don’t feel an egg, since egg binding and prolaps occasionally happen at the same time. Make sure that she is pooping. Keep her vent clean.

To stop her laying eggs temporarily, place her in a dark cage or room overnight for 16 hours a day, then let her out for 8 hours a day to eat drink and walk around. Here is an article to read:
