how to ge tmy hens to lay

I have 4 RIR hens and 1 RIR rooster..my hens are 25 weeks old and havnt started laying yet..is there any way i can jump start them to start layin ? or feed them something ?

If they free range they may be laying, but not where you can find the eggs! They should be laying by now, I think. Try posting in the Chicken Behaviour and Egg laying section?

I read your other thread - if your hens are losing feathers they're probably molting. Most hens don't lay during their molts. (Mine did, for some weird reason.)
You should see eggs after they regrow their feathers.
