For sure. This is my NOT jumbo, funny little Buff. The biggest chicken I've ever had was a buff so then when I got this one (DNice,) I was pretty surprised, she's about half the size of her predecessor.I'll love my girls regardless but hoping I get the better end of the crap shoot![]()
Thank you!I second the suggestion to get English Orpingtons. They are exceptionally sweet, huge, floofy birds.
There are a few good breeders, in the east you may have better success looking at Carolina Rare Chicks , but Papa's Poultry comes highly recommended too.
There are also groups on FB you could join to find someone close to you that already has them. Be aware that American lines or mixes of the two are less floofy and smaller in size, that can be hard to tell from a picture.
