How to Get A Blue Favaucana ???

Thank you for your detailed reply. I've been reading like mad and asking other peeps lots of questions.

I asked about lavender because somewhere I read that it dilutes also the red and golds. Favs being black genetic base (think that's what I read) I would hypothesize dilution across the board. Nature has it own plans of course and not just a one gen mating... I get that. But have you seen any lavenders crossed to Faverolles (I'm having a hard time finding any). My thought process leads me to think that lavender would be more reliably bred than blue. Thoughts?

I just bred my lavender Ameracauna rooster with my salmon faverolles hen. Their babies are black! They have a bit of brown by their eyes.

Hi everyone ! We are looking for a Favacauna breeder. If you know of one can you Private Message us the info. We really would appreciate it. Thanks

That's my blue favaucan roo I also have a black hen :)

I have a black/lavender split Ameraucana roo and hen and two pure lavender hens. I was thinking that I could breed Favaucanas if I got a Salmon Faverolles roo for the hens. I am thinking that the offspring would be black. How would I get lavender Favaucanas? And also, would the hens take the Favarolles roo apart?

I know that a Favaucana is when you mix a Faverolle & Ameraucana.... Does anyone know how the Blue Favaucana came about , and what particular Breeds need to be mixed to get the Blue Favaucana ??????
I saw someone who got a Blue favarolle from breeding a salmon and a blue cochin. That might help then breed that with a Blue ameracana?
