How to get a slow crop to function normally in 5 week old chick?

Maybe I can put in a cardboard divider? Some how. It's the best I can do. I don't have a second waterer right now.

I give him crop massages occasionally, but haven't given him coconut in awhile since he's been drinking plenty of water.
I would start giving the coconut, it may help break up what's in there.
It's good that he's drinking.

He's pooping just fine, so I still think his crop is just slow.
I would still try to find a way to withhold food for a day and see if that crop empties. Make water available.
A crop is like elastic - while he's young it will likely go back into shape o.k. but too long being stretched out and not emptying completely can cause some complications later on down the road.

I understand that.

I gave him coconut oil, & a crop massage earlier.

He got some grit a few hours ago though.

They're sleeping now.

Good news. His crop is almost empty. There's still a little bit of food in there though.

I took him out for a crop massage, & all he wanted to do is sleep 🤣 .

I'm still going to keep an eye on him.

I'm also still trying to figure out how plastic got into the wood chips in the brooder.

More good news is he is only snacking, & not feasting, so I won't have to worry about him being over stuffed.
He's kinda acting like he has a belly ache, but if I were him, I would to with all that food that went into his belly.

Other then the stomach ache, he's fine, just a bit lazy.
