how to get around zoning ordinance

I live in Arenac County Michigan and just received a letter saying I have 5 days to get rid of my chickens because I am in violation of the ordinance section 1938 Keeping of Animals. Is there a way to get around this we have chickens for eggs we do not sell them or the chickens they are for our own personal use.

Perhaps they can be your "pets" Not sure, we are seeking approval before getting any here because of similar ordinaces. :/ Hope you find a way! Maybe also get letters of approval from your neighbors and request a waiver from the zoning board.
