how to get baby chicks to like me?

i recently got baby chicks maybe a week old or so and the first day i got them i held them spent time with them they still seemed a little scared so i gave them spaced and they still seemed to be scared of me. how do i get them to warm up to me?

It will take awhile.

Hand feeding them treats,and spending hours with them helps.If they do not wanna be held,don't hold them.Also,cup your hands ober them to catch them.Step by step and slowly catch them.Don't jump,just slowly move one hand towards it,then have your hands trap it in between both.Also,when going pick them up,slowly reach your hand in the pen.No fast motions.
