how to get chickens to gain weight

Do they have a good granite grit to help digest the food so maybe theyd eat more?

oyster shell and they some times free range but we recently just had 2 vanish so no one is let out at this point in time to free range. we dont know what happened to them, there was no commotion from the other free ranging ones, no noise of distress, nothing not even missing feathers from them and we were out treating legs for leg mites when one dissappeared.

Might help to feed them fermented feed? This is what helped plump up my girls. They have been gaining weight ever since I have done the fermented feed. Could give it a try.

They dont have to be meat birds. I did this for all my chickens and it helped put weight on them.
I did starter, scratch mix and oats.

Feeding them on growers or fattening pellets will help also some bread

i heard if you crack a few eggs into there food and mix them in it will help them get realy beefy
