How to Get Eggs that Contain Omega 3

Is there a type of feed or supplement you can give your hens so they lay eggs that contain Omega 3?

You can feed flaxseed, it's readily available at your feed store. I use 1 cup per 14 lbs of feed and it also makes your birds beautifully shiny!

I read that birds that free-range lay eggs higher in Omega 3. Makes sense. It's in plants.

i am prty sure that all eggs have omega 3 in them and free range ones r higher in omega 3s

Flax seed all the way. There are some folks who feed fish products to boost OFA but it can be dicey to use. From what I understand the fish meal can become dangerously rancid before you even are aware of it.
