how to get flys out

There are about 100 flys in my coop! how do I get them out!

I use sweet PDZ on my poop board, clean the poop daily. When the PDZ has been there for 3-4 weeks, there is an increase in flies in the coop. I clean it and add a new bag of PDZ and the flies go away. At least down to a tolerable level. I also scatter some of the PDZ around the litter on the floor.

I recently moved my birds into the new coop & also use Sweet PDZ on poop boards. I have zero problems at this point with flies compared to the temporary coop they were in a week ago! I am SOOOOO glad I found the posts on poop boards with Sweet PDZ! No odor & very easy to clean the poop from poop board. I strongly suggest trying it!

The best fly control that I know of is KEEP IT CLEAN! I use pine shavings and change it weekly. I cover floor and nest boxes, Plus I lightly cover floor and yard with Diatomaceous Earth (food Grade) you can also put in the feed to keep bugs out of feed, and it passes though chicken into poo, helps dry it up, and cuts up all the bugs, flys, fleas, ants, etc.
