How to get leg bands off?

i just purchased 6 chicks from a good friend but they have zip ties that were used as leg bands on their legs... there is not much room to cut them off. Any ideas?

Use nail clippers or some very tiny wire cutters that are designed for jewelry making.

Maybe ask them? Try finding a very small pair of scissors or garden cutters or jewelry cutters?
