How To Get My Silkies To Go Inside Coop For The Night?

WOW !!! I never thought of that. That is a definite thing to do!!!
They might just get in a panic or try sleeping on the ground at the bottom of the ramp or something, of course. But at least it would save you having to pull them out from underneath the coop.

I wouldn't do it if the area under the coop is the only shelter they have from rain etc while they're outside though. If they're in a run that's at least partly covered, or have access to some other kind of shelter, then they might still be unhappy about it but it shouldn't hurt them.

I had a tarp on one half of the rooftop of the run which came with the run. Three days ago I bought a tarp for the other half of the run's rooftop. That will prevent the silkies from getting wet as long as the rain comes straight down. If rain comes down and blows into the run, then I dont know if that matters. If it snows, I guess I will have to scoop the snow off the roof?
