I just got my chickens (ready to lay hens) three days ago and moved them into a nice little chicken tractor...but I can't get them to leave their house. Underneath is a nice fenced area for them to scratch and run, but they won't go down the ramp so far. Today, we lifted one hen out and put her underneath, hoping she'd entice the others to join her...but they did the enticing instead and, after half an hour, she ran UP the ramp. Any ideas?

Chickens don't like change and take a while to adjust. You could try a few treats, or even sprinkling some food on the ground outside. Or just wait.
