How to get pullets to be trusting of me

As everyone else said, it takes time. Just keep socializing with them, offering treats and maybe put some crumble in your hand and see if you can get them to hand feed. My flock that I lost last year never had this issue with being so flighty but the group of pullets I got this year (as day old chicks) have been super skiddish, it wasn't until they were out of the brooder and in the coop for a few weeks before they started coming out of their shells. But regardless, I always spent time out trying to get them to come to me and be friendly and it didn't take too long. Now if they are out free ranging in the yard and they hear my come out of the back door they are all running to me like little ducks in a row.

Awesome advice everyone, thanks.
And to be honest I though having chickens was a terrible idea, but it made my wife happy. Now, I'm protective of them and building larger areas for them to roam...... I've learned to like the little buggers

They wiggle their way into your heart, that's for sure.

Lol yea they do that.
I'm making a pvc chicken run because I want them to have more room and be happier.
All for what... eggs?? I could just buy them at Costco.

How's it going? I've been sitting with mine a few times a day and they are warming up more each time. It's neat to watch them build their trust. One even fell asleep cuddled next to my hand and let me pet her instead of fleeing to the other side.
I have blueberries today and they had no interest. Didn't care about the strawberry until I dipped it in yogurt. They go totally nuts over yogurt. I also made up some wheat spaghetti and they went bonkers over it. I would def recommend trying these two treats.

Treats and a lot of FaceTime worked for us. Patience, too.
