I have been moving all week.. Well found some clothes I had stored and a mouse had gotteh into them so I took em outside and shook them out then washed them .. Well I must have missed a crayon because when i pulled the clothes outta the dryer they are covered in Purple crayon... ( Funny I did'nt know mice liked to draw) Now I have purple on a ton of clopthes including my brand new work pants and my DS favorit shirt.. How do I get it out???????? Help

Sometimes you can use a stain remover on some of the smaller/lighter areas but if it is 'chunky', I have never been able to get it out.

I have also laid a paper towel on the spot and laid a warm iron on it. Since the crayon is made of wax, sometimes it will melt and stick to the paper towel.
Just hold the iron there, dont rub it back and forth or it will smear.

Good luck!

your best shot is the iron method... but usually the stain, remains.

Thanks guys .. Luckily most of the clothes I am not overly attached to except my sons favorite blue shirt.. He likes it cause i have one just like it..

I will try all suggestions as I have a few to try it on .. Thanks for the ideas everybody..

Call Crayola or go to their site. They can help you out. I had to contact them when (after reading Halorld and the Purple Crayon) my DD decided to color a white cinderblock wall purple at out apartment.....

Thankfully after taking to the lovely people at Crayola I was able to completely remove the mark!

Good luck!

Try rubbing toothpaste on it. Then washing it.... It worked for some crayon in some old shorts. I ain't saying it is natures cure, but it worked for me...
