How to get rid of Andrey the goshawk?

Wow Axel... you are the man..... he is really nice..... I doubt I could kill him once he is just sitting like that. Hope you didn't break his wing. That is amazing.... here in the USA, you would be in a heap o trouble possessing that bird..... Whatever you wind up doing, you don't want him back out in your orchard.....

Yeah well i kinda exaggerated with his 2 metre long wingspan but still he is quite big.

Romania is a pretty good spot to be when it comes to Livestock guardian dogs. Look into Carpathian Shepherd Dogs/Ciobănesc Românesc Carpatin (would suggest an 18+ month old considering you have aerial predators). Join 'Learning about LGDs' on FB, it has ~14k members and is a great help when it comes to raising LGD's to be great working dogs. I suspect you'll be dealing with another predator soon unfortunately, they're incredibly opportunistic.

It's a shame really. They're lovely looking birds and incredibly agile for their size.
I had a female here last winter. Her wing span was well over a metre. She frightened the donkeys!
The older chickens here know about the goshawk and don't take as many chances as the youngsters.

Well; the skies are clear so far.
Apart from this: I just saw this huge stork perched on my lamppost. What the hell is she doing here? There are no lakes or ponds around. And the 4th grader me learnt that storks only eat small creatures which swim!

I don't know if any falconers would want a bird that old. It would be cool to have as a pet but it would also be illegal if you did not have the proper permits here.
