How to get rid of cats? I need all of your help!

You need to trap them, and have them euthanized. The humane society may have traps you can borrow or rent. If not, you might be able to rent them at some kind of tool rental place. If not, try some animal removal company that deals with "pests".

Do not do poison, don't go shooting them.

Where I live, Animal Control is part of the Police Dept. I think they'll come out & catch as many as they can at no charge, especially if you're in the city. If it's county, ask for suggestions. I'd definately do it! Those cats get hungry & will kill your chickens!

We have already tried the pound and they said it was in our hands. Probably because the lazy A$$ doent want to catch 16 cats. And the humane society wont take them because they are deformed and sickly. So... any other suggestions, they really need to be put down or traped with out us getting scratched, bitten, clawed, or killed lol! They are so smart and probably impossible to catch.

This is at my grandmas, not my house, so my chickens are safe, and the cats are fed.

SPRAY CITIRUS OR SIMILAR STUFF LIKE ORANGE PEEL EVERYWHERE THEY HATE THAT< BUY SOME CHEAP ORANGE AND BURST THEM ALL OVER THE PLACE AND THEY WILL SOON MOVCE ON< ONE OF THE BEST WAYS TO GET RID OF UNWANTED CATS, THEY HATE IT, ALSO THEY NEVER WALK ON ALUMINIUM PAPER!!

Call the police dept. Don't tell them they belong to a family member. Say the lady died and the cats are a nuisance.

Yep, and the sooner, the better. You'll have a huge colony of feral cats before you know it.

Animal Control should help. If not, contact the local humane society. They should be able to put you in touch with any number of groups out there to help.

I've been involved with dog and cat rescue for years and they don't charge a fee, but it would be nice if you donated some food or something for the animals they do take care of till adopted.

When I said yep, I was referring to calling Animal Control. Although the police will probably route you in that direction anyway.

they really cant be adopted, they are wild and they are very sickly, matted eyes and deformities.
