I was making a milk delivery last week and one of the gallon jars full of milk fell over and broke in our good truck.
I got a Bissell green machine the same day and cleaned the carpet once already. Thought I had it all out.

I even pulled up the plastic step things that are right in the door and washed them and under them.

Truck still stinks!
I'm going to wash the carpet again today.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of this smell?

My sister-in-law told me to use coffee to remove smells. Buy a can of the least expensive brand available and just sprinkle it on your carpet and let it sit overnight. Then vacuum. I would make sure the carpet is dry though or it could stain. I have used this several times. Believe it or not, it works great on stinky sneakers. (Just fill an old sock with the coffee and stick it in your shoe.) Most recently when the gasket leaked around my door and the inside got wet. Phew!!

Good luck.

Nice tip on the coffee. Going to have to try that.

To the original post, I wonder if Sweet PDZ will help. I use it in my coop and the cat boxes.

A moving man told me once that when your refrigerator or freezer is going to be turned off for a while (like during a move) to take a clean sock, fill it with ground coffee and put it in the fridge/freezer to keep that musty smell away, It works.
