How to get tendons out of drumstick?

So we finally did it! Got our first, largest roosters processed today (FR).

But while we figured out most everything pretty well, I couldn't figure out how to get the tendons out of the leg. Hints? Helps?

I've never heard of taking the tendons out of the drumsticks.

You could de-bone them and then trim them.
