For meat and eggs from one breed, you'll want dual purpose large fowl. My recommendation is wyandottes. They tend to be docile, will do well in Ohio winter since are rose comb, and of course they are dual purpose.
Or you could get a breed specifically for meat and a variety of other breeds for egg laying.
