how to give chickens space

I really need some more run space for my chickens but my next door neighbor has 2 cats that watch them closely!!!!!!!!!!!!1

How much space do you have? How many chickens?

Have a look at what others have built, but an enclosed run with a roof, either solid or hardware cloth would be enough to keep cats out. I'm building a coop and run with solid roof and we have 5 cats.

I have a stray cat that watches my chickens. Hes not really interested in eating them now that they're bigger, I guess it's just entertaining to him. One chicken jumped in his direction and he went running

But for a run I would just make sure to use hardware cloth. When my chickens were smaller said cat did try to pounce them. Except he ended up just bouncing off of the hardware cloth.

Easiest basic run set up is a dog kennel, I'd go no smaller than 10x10 if possible. You'll need to reinforce it but it gives you a good structure to build off of.

Agreed. I have 12 panels and they are great and easy to add to or change setup
