I have the following coop: http://gallery.me.com/anthonyjames420#100098&bgcolor=black&view=carouseljs&sel=0

As
you see looking at the photos it is pretty tall. 5'3 to be exact at th highest point inside. I am trying to figure out how far off the ground I should hang my 1 gallon feeder and waterer on the inside.. You can see by looking at the images there are 6 nest boxes, 2 roosting poles and a narrow opening between them at about 2 ft.

Any suggestions?

I would hang the water and feeder with a chain. As the chickens grow you can adjust the height very easily. You also have to consider the depth of the litter. You want that to be at least 6 inches deep in the winter to provide more insulation. The feeders and waterers should be as high as the chickens back so as the chickens grow you will usually adjust them once a week.

I use a chain for my coop and just adjust things up or down using "S" hooks.
