I know sounds crazy right? Anybody out there tried this? If so did it work? I'm talking about hatching eggs with rice socks, heat lamps, heating pads ect. I want to try as a experiment since my incubator is full and I have some eggs I would like to hatch. If you have done this how did you do it? (Please explain in detail) Thanks!

Rice socks no.

A regular light bulb will work but the most important thing is not overheating the eggs.
I'm afraid a heat lamp would overheat them.
It is very time-consuming unless you have a thermostat to control the light.

Time consuming because you will have to watch closely and turn the light off and on often so it doesn't overheat.

I highly recommend just to getting a real incubator or at least a thermostat to control a light bulb.

Regular light bulbs get plenty hot enough.
Not LED light bulbs regular light bulbs I don't know what the heck the proper name is for a regular light bulb.
