How to hatch hens?

Hello fellow chicken lovers!
im about to hatch some new chicks!! I will be hatching Americana’s and Americana mixes but they will be going under a broody hen so I was wondering if there is a way I can get just hens or at least increase the chances of a hen?

The only true way I know of to increase your chance of just girls... is purchasing sexed pullet chicks from the feed store or hatchery and tucking under the broody hen. Many of us have done this successfully!

Otherwise... it's about 50% on genders and anyone should have a plan for the extra boys before choosing to hatch.
