How to help keep them cool

Okay I set a fan up in the coop and made a makeshift ac for them under the coop. I have all of the sides open (covered with HC) and closed those off except for.the front and cut a hole for the side. They are absolutely loving it. I put frozen blocks of ice inside and it's blowing cold air. Not sure how long the ice will last but I have more in the freezer if I need to replace it. We are only at 95right now and I put a thermometer under the coop closest to the air blowing and it read 80 so its definitely doing a great job. They also have ice blocks in a shallow pool to stand in and fresh clean water with ice.
Use frozen bottles of water as as not to add to the humidity.
Maybe do an article for the build.

Right now I have a block of ice and then a milk gallon filled with water that I froze. After this block melts I'll only use the gallons. I have a few in the freezer. I keep the blocks for the pool

that's huge, a lot of people do so much for during the day but overlook the night, and roost-time is the heat of the day in a lot of hot places, like Phoenix.
Yes, last night I noticed they didn't go into their coop and right away I knew they were too hot in there. Even though we have huge openings for air flow it still wasn't enough. Got the fan set up for tonight. I don't mind them sleeping in the run as it's secure but I want them as comfortable as possible.

So sorry about your loss, I know it's especially hard when you did all you knew to do.

Here are some pictures of some of what I do:
A mister in front of a fan, and a tray of water with clay bricks in it, so they stand on the dry tops of the bricks and cool off. Besides that, I drizzle a hose in a tree well in the shade of the house, in other words, find a spot that's naturally cool, or not so hot, and improve on that.
Note, the bucket top misting fan in the picture, is less than a year old but its mister no longer works, so I had to buy a mister to put in front of it. The fan portion still works. I didn't have any of this operating when I took the pictures just now.

A couple I met this morning, who live in texas, use trays of water and their birds stand in that. Others use ice. I also freeze half-filled 2-liter soda bottles (filled with water), and put those in the girls' dust bath. The barred rock sits next to it sometimes. Later in the day when the tree well is in the shade, I put a soda/ice bottle there also.

Hope this helps!
Can you fill that bucket up with ice chunks, add a little water and set your fan over it to create a makeshift AC?

So I just wanted to update about this makeshift ac. It's seriously amazing. I haven't gotten the stuff to make another one but am planning on doing it and making an article. I want to put one in the coop to help blow cold air at night since we are still pretty hot, even at dark. I wait until around noon to put the ice in, until then I just let the fan blow air. We start warming up at noon so I put the ice in and checked their water, threw some frozen melon balls for then, then felt under the coop. It seriously felt as cool as my house. I'm going to try and put a thermometer under there to get an accurate temo but we keep the house round 74. Hoping I can get the article made up soon because this can seriously save some chickens in severe weather. And it only cost me around $10.
