How to house meaties?

How about some 4' X 8' panels using 2X4s with wire stapled on them and then simply tie the corners together (I tacked a triangle of plywood on each corner for a gusset). Then throw some deer or fruit tree netting over the top to keep them in and a tarp over one end for sleeping / shade area. This would allow you to go as big as you wish, move them around if you choose, it's cheap, and easily disassembles and stores for winter. Shove a heavy tree branch thru the wire about 2' up for a perch and you would have a couple happy birds.

I ended up letting the two free range all day and then I lock them up in a small pen at night. They seem to be content. I have a royal palm (for sale or trade lol) and a BB white (for dinner). The royal flys up into the roost that I gave them and also flys up into a tree in the yard and on top of the chicken coop (i think it just likes making the rooster mad). The bb dosent even attempt to fly. He might stretch his wings occasionaly, but he would rather sleep on the ground. He is very tame and dosent mind being handled. The royal is a little more flighty.
