How to improve hatch rates for shipped eggs

You can do eveything right and still have a lot of low hatch rates because there is always the gap between shipping and getting to you. Just check the temperature is good and they will need rotated a few times a day. Make sure it's side to side rotation and about 180 degrees don't full flip them 360. Some incubators have the auto rollers to do it for you. Personally I would do morning slight turn, breakfast, lunch dinner and before bed slight turns then. Always check the temperature when you flip and it should go alright. Let them sit for 24hrs before you incubate to let the yolk adjust temperature prior to putting in. It's a period to settle and get set (they were jostled in shipping plus the varying temps). Most incubators suggest distilled water, you could use tap but for me I'm paranoid and worry there is bacteria and I would boil and fully let it cool to room temperature prior to use to take extra precautions with tap.
