How to Inject Tylan

i saw a few videos and some
Show the chicken being injected in the breast, some show the back, where should I inject?

Can please someone share videos of the best method & site.

Tylan can cause severe muscle necrosis when given by injection. I suggest that you give it orally 2-4 times a day instead. How much does your bird weigh? The chicken dose is one ml per pound per day.

Twice a day = 0.5 ml per pound twice a day
Three times a day = 0.3 ml per pound three times a day
Four times a day = 0.25 ml per pound four times a day

I just gave my four week old chicks subcutaneous injections, and out worked out fine. It wasn't as nerve wracking as intramusclar. They squawked about being held, but not at the injection. They were little still, so I gave 0.1 ml twice daily for three days, and 0.1 for an additional two days for the worst two.

I gave mine in it’s neck. Just pulled the skin out and injected subdermally. I was really worried about aspiration if it was given orally.
