How to Install a Window in my Coop?

Sure. You could also pre drill some holes for screws and screw it straight into the framing. Then chaulk the seams. Predrill though. The lumber will split if you don't. Oh and be careful not to over tighten or it can split too. Just listen to the wood when putting screws in. It will tell you when it wants to split. You'll know when.

I set an opening just a hair larger than the frame and set the window inside with a lip on the bottom and screwed a block of wood in place on the top edge. I put poultry mesh on the inside of the frame and now I can easily take the window out and have an open air coop if the weather ever gets warm.
