How to introduce a Cockerill to my flock

I am saving a Cockerill who is in need of a new home ASAP,

what’s the best way to introduce him to my flock of hens please.

people said just pop him in & let them sort it out but I would like other peoples advice thanks

How old is this cockerel...in weeks?
How old are your hens...and how many do you have?
How big of a coop and run do you have?

I would not just 'pop him in there'.
Put him in an enclosure next to the hens for at least a few days,
so they can get a look at each other.

I just popped him in and he’s been absolutely fine
