i just lost Francis (the coolest guinea in the world!) We are wanting to get more, I was thinking 2 females and 1 male. A friend of mine is going to give me some that are already free range. How can I introduce them to be free range where I live? Will they naturally adapt if they know where their food and water is?

It sounds like they are adult guineas. They should always be confined to their new home for several weeks. Otherwise they may just try to fly back 'home'. I have introduced new guineas to my existing flock but they still need to be confined for a while so they know where they are 'supposed' to be.

HOW DID YOU INTRODUCE THE NEW ONES TO THE FLOCK?

Well.... We ended up getting baby chickens, they are now two months old. I want them to get a little bigger until I introduce even more older birds. Also, my hens aren't laying correctly right now so I don't want to stress them out...
